Abstract
Una tradición hermosa y singular dentro de la historia de la industria editorial colombiana es aquella que combina la orientación cultural con las afugias y descalabros de la vida comercial. Se trata, casi siempre, de empresas editoriales emprendidas por destacadas figuras de nuestro mundo creativo e intelectual que buscaron propagar sus ideas, y se enfrentaron a las estrecheces y penurias de un muy reducido mercado. Aun así, decenio tras decenio marcando una ininterrumpida secuencia de renovación y calidad.
