Abstract
<p>Neste trabalho, que está baseado nos princípios da Análise do Discurso francesa, seguindo especialmente o pensamento de Maingueneau, analisamos a relação que há entre o discurso de auto-ajuda e os provérbios, o que nos permitiu verificar que o discurso em questão pode ser considerado como um caso de captação do gênero proverbial.</p>
