Abstract
In the last decade, broad demands for greater transparency and participation in the elaboration of public policies have arisen. The crisis of representation has caused governments to see transparency policies as a way to restore public confidence. Improvement of transparency websites, commitment to an open data policy; regulation of interest groups; intensive use of social networks; promotion of deliberation forums; adoption of codes of conduct for MPs or publicity of parliamentarians' agendas are some of the opening tools of parliaments that are being experienced at both national and international level.
