Abstract
A new species of the cryptine genus Hadrocryptus is described based on specimens reared from bamboo trap nests in Hong Kong. Hadrocryptus perforator sp. nov. is an ectoparasitoid of aculeate Hymenoptera larvae and prepupae of the families Vespidae (Eumeninae) and Sphecidae. These are the first host records for this genus.
