Abstract
We obtain the general solution and the stability of the functional
equation
๐(๐ฅ+๐ฆ+๐ง,๐ข+๐ฃ+๐ค)+๐(๐ฅ+๐ฆโ๐ง,๐ข+๐ฃ+๐ค)+2๐(๐ฅ,๐ขโ๐ค)+2๐(๐ฆ,๐ฃโ๐ค)=๐(๐ฅ+๐ฆ,๐ข+๐ค)+๐(๐ฅ+๐ฆ,๐ฃ+๐ค)+๐(๐ฅ+๐ง,๐ข+๐ค)+๐(๐ฅโ๐ง,๐ข+๐ฃโ๐ค)+๐(๐ฆ+๐ง,๐ฃ+๐ค)+๐(๐ฆโ๐ง,๐ข+๐ฃโ๐ค).
The function ๐(๐ฅ,๐ฆ)=๐ฅ3+๐๐ฅ+๐โ๐ฆ2 having level curves as elliptic curves is a solution of the above functional equation.
