Abstract
El término Numismática se cree que proviene del Griego NOMISMA que significa moneda y se refiere al estudio y coleccionismo de las monedas y medallas. La palabra Moneda proviene del Latín MONERE que signifi ca advertir, uno de los atributos dados a la Diosa Juno junto a cuyo templo se acuñaron las primeras monedas romanas de plata en el siglo III a.C.
