Abstract
De las hojas de Clusia ellipticifolia. Cuatrecasas, vel.aff. fue aislada clusiacitran B, una benzofenona recientemente encontrada en C. multiflora.
Su estructura se determinó por espectroscopias IR, RMN-'H, EM, y por comparación con muestras auténticas. También se muestra su comportamiento en una reacción de acetilación normal.
