Abstract
The author examines the question of concentration-tratnyh indicators of the Russian innovation system, using the index method. Empirical base of research were statistics as a tool used by a package of data analysis of the social sciences SPSS Base. The objects of investigation were the Federal District, as well as major research centers - Moscow and St. Petersburg, as of 2000-2009.
