Abstract
The essence of this article is making a reflection about the role carried out by family orientation in the context with the families of the students from 5th an d 6th grades; this should be kept in mind by the teachers so that they can perform an appropriate or ientation with the parents. On the other hand, the orientations that they should receive on the part of the teachers are not always adjusted to the necessities and expectations of the families, due to the little knowledge that in occasions teachers have on orientation.
