Abstract
Filosofía y popularidad suelen entenderse como términos excluyentes. Antes, por la influencia de los letrados de la Regeneración, quienes anclados en la tonta claridad del catecismo condenaban por ininteligibles a los filósofos alemanes. Después, por la vertiginosa influencia del modo de vida estadounidense, con su extendido desprecio por la especulación filosófica, apenas balanceado por el subrepticio pitagorismo de sus sociólogos.
