Abstract
Hay sucesos que nos recuerdan amenas y pasadas lecturas, y el peligro de que de mi vieja y amada ciudad de Bogotá desaparezcan cosas a ella ligadas por el paso de los siglos, como han perecido tantas de ellas, me na traído a la memoria aquel precioso cuento de Azorín que se llama La Continuidad Histórica. Se narra allí el caso peregrino de cierto pintor Caspar Salgado, enamorado de su patria y de cuanto a ella perteneciera: sus paisajes, sus edificios, su literatura, su historia, sus costumbres.
