Abstract
O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar a crítica levinasiana à identificaçáo da subjetividade com a consciência, assim como sua concepçáo de subjetividade de origem anárquica. Para tanto, iniciaremos com a crítica de Levinas ao conceito de Eu, pensado em grande parte da filosofia ocidental e as noções de Ideia do Infinito e Desejo Metafísico como primeiros passos para ruptura desse pensamento. Em seguida, apresentaremos o Rosto como questionador da soberania do Eu e exigência de resposta. Como último momento e objetivo central deste artigo, apresentaremos a anarquia do Eu, ou seja, o Eu sem origem, em recorrência, fora da consciência e destituído de si mesmo. Estes momentos sáo importantes para a construçáo do pensamento ético de Levinas.
