Abstract
Kamu görevlisi olarak görev yapan kütüphanecilerin kendilerini ilgilendiren mevzuatı ve bu alandaki yenilikleri izlemeleri, mesleki başarıları açısından büyük önem taşır. Son yıllarda gerek memur mevzuatında ve gerekse kütüphanecilere yönelik mevzuatta çeşitli değişiklikler meydana gelmiştir. Bu doğrultuda makalede, devlet memurluğuna giriş ve yükselmelerde, sendikal örgütlenme konusunda, memurlara ilişkin yönetsel yargı ve ceza kovuşturması alanlarında, emeklilik konusunda tüm memurları ve bu arada kütüphanecileri de ilgilendiren mevzuat değişiklikleri ile doğrudan kütüphanecilere yönelik bazı düzenlemelere kısaca değinilmektedir.
