Abstract
Dergide iki bölüm halinde yayınlanacak makalede bilginin toplumdaki yeri; kayıtlı bilgiden yararlanmanın gereği olan okuryazarlık olgusunun içeriği ve türleri;
ve Ankara Üniversitesi DTCF Kütüphanecilik Bölümü öğrencilerinin hem okuryazarlık (işlevsel, kütüphane ve enformasyon okuryazarlığı) durumları ve okuryazarlığa etki eden unsurları belirlemeye hem de bilgi toplumu olma yolunda okuryazar bir toplum oluşumuna katkıda bulunma sorumluluğunu yerine getirmede, kendilerini ne oranda yeterli hissttikleri ve söz konusu sorumluluğu yerine getirme sürecinde izleyecekleri yola ilişkin düşüncelerini ortaya koymaya yönelik olarak gerçekleştirilen “sıırvey” çalışmasının verileri ele alınmıştır.
