Abstract
Memahami teks al-qur'an dengan hanya dari segi gramatika, asal-usul kala, aspek sastra, dan aspek linguistik lainnya tidak cukup untuk menjawab kebutuhan pemahaman atas teks itu sendiri. karena sangat memungkinkan untuk memberikan peluang beberapa kosa kata yang baru dapat dipahami belakangan setelah munculnya teks kauniyah maupun humaniora. Hal ini berarti memberikan lndikasi bahwa sesungguhnya kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan memiliki peran penting dalam upaya memahami teks­ teks al -Our'an. Oleh karena itu penggunaan metode hermeneutik dalam penafsiran al-Qur'an bertujuan untuk menghayati dunia teks yang bernuansa masa lalu dengan dunia empiris saat ini. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mendekatkan keduanya agar dapat menjawab semua persoalan yang terjadi ditengah-tengah masyarakat saat ini
