Abstract
De manera constante se han dilatado sobre los valles y las llanuras de Colombia las altas voces de la elocuencia de Venezuela, oídas por vez primera desde los días heroicos y bravos de la brega libertadora. Siempre fueron familiares para los letrados de la vieja Nueva Granada los acentos ardorosos, persistentes y firmes de los letrados nacidos a la sombra de los montes de la Capitanía, o de los caudillos que nacieron arrullados por las aguas vertiginosas de sus grandes corrientes.
