Abstract
Par des tests de résistance thermique, les auteurs ont étudié les possibilités
de survie du gardon (Rutilus rutilus L.) soumis pendant 48 heures à des élévations
brusques de température.
La température létale augmente avec la température à laquelle les gardons
ont été acclimatés.
La limite supérieure théorique de l'acclimatation se situe à 36,2 °C :
elle correspond à 50 % de mortalité. Un graphique permet d'évaluer, en fonction
de la température de la rivière, les accroissements de température qui provoquent
en 48 heures, 10, 50 et 90 % de mortalité dans les populations de gardons.
