Abstract
Tener la palabra significa tener el poder. Existe una división social del poder decir, que consagra un orden social regido por las desigualdades. El autor aporta algunas pautas para construir medios de comunicación educativo-populares en los que la palabra se maneje de forma más democrática. la cultura del silencio intenta excluir a los pobres de la posibilidad de recrear el mundo, así como de reflexionar críticamente, internizándolos en la obediencia de escuchar y repetir.
