Abstract
Objetivo: identificar na literatura como a educação em saúde aliada a prática da enfermagem pode facilitar o processo de cuidar em enfermagem no ambiente hospitalar. Método: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com bases de dados eletrônicas: LILACS. A questão que norteou o estudo foi: Como a educação em saúde pode contribuir para o cuidado no ambiente hospitalar na pratica da enfermagem? Resultados: após leitura e análise dos artigos foram criadas quatro categorias temáticas: O processo de educar para a saúde; O educar através do modelo vertical e horizontal; Educação e promoção da saúde; e O contexto hospitalar. Conclusão: os saberes não podem ser simplesmente transferidos, mas instigados aos educadores, neste caso, o sujeito- cliente, a serem sujeitos reais na“ construção e da reconstrução”.
