Abstract
El mito de un pueblo que no puede, según se dice, tener acceso al arte por una especie de incapacidad intrínseca y que no se halla interesado en la cultura, quedó desenmascarado en el Festival Iberoamericano de Teatro , Bogotá 88, por el abrumador plebiscito del público bogotano que, ora frente a los espectáculos gratuitos del teatro callejero, ora disputándose boletas muy costosas, mostró que, al contrario de los que nos dicen los medios de comunicación comercializados, está ávido de verdadero arte, de superarse y de encontrar salidas efectivas a su situación de atraso e ignorancia.
