Abstract
Para este trabajo, se revisaron las colecciones depositadas en el Museo Nacional de Historia Natural del Paraguay. Además, los datos se complementan con trabajos y observaciones de campo de los autores. Adicionalmente se revisó la literatura disponible sobre la herpetofauna del Paraguay en la cual se haga mención a la especie, con el objetivo de conocer la primera cita para la República del Paraguay.
