Abstract
Fue impresionante el impacto, alcance y omnipresencia de la televisión, especialmente en la guerra de Vietnam a la que convirtió en algo inescapable y finalmente agudizó hasta extremos intolerables las preguntas fundamentales ¿para qué? ¿hasta dónde? desencadenaron la incomodidad y desconfianza de los norteamericanos a la prensa. El nuevo interés por las noticias que generó la televisión, beneficiaron indirectamente a la mayoría de los periódicos.
