Abstract
A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo a compreensão da organização familiar no processo de desenvolvimento da criança na educação infantil. As investigações possibilitaram conhecer e compreender as relações familiares e seu reflexo no desenvolvimento da criança. Realizou-se análise de referencial teórico, pesquisa de campo, com abordagem qualitativa observações descritivas e entrevistas. Concluiu-se que uma criança precisa do acompanhamento dos adultos e educadores e que não basta à participação dos pais nos momentos de festividades é necessário viver com seus filhos o espaço escolar, como um local que preserva, cuida e alicerça os fazeres da infância enquanto tempo de vida.
