Complex therapy of cardiovascular diseases and their prophylaxis include antiplatelet administration. Considering that in most cases patients with cardiovascular diseases need antiplatelet administration during long time, social and economic availability of antiplatelet and the price of medicine directly acquire an important significance. The study of price situation on the pharmaceutical market is based on all state programs of drug price control and is determinative parameter for pricing policy choice by the pharmaceutical manufacturers and counteragents. The aim of this work is the study of antiplatelet price on the domestic wholesale pharmaceutical market and also analysis of their availability for the consumers of Zaporizhzhia region. Materials and methods. During the investigation logical, statistic methods and monitoring were used. Price lists of weekly “Apteka” for September 2015 – September 2016 were analyzed. Objects of investigation were wholesale and consumer prices of antiplatelets. Analysis was carried out on the base of well-known wholesale companies’ price lists. Results. At present 87 names В01АС «Antiplatelet» are registered inUkraine. During analysis of price situation wholesale prices and weighted average consumer prices of antiplatelets were examined. During investigation, the demand for drugs of this group was taken into account. Price liquidity, adequate paying capacity and availability factors of antiplatelet from the established list were calculated. Conclusions. The carried out analysis of price situation on the pharmaceutical market of the most popular antiplatelet in Zaporizhzhia region shows the high price competition in this segment of pharmaceutical market. Calculated adequate paying capacity and availability factors show the low antiplatelet availability for the consumers in Zaporizhzhia region. That fact causes necessity of making new domestic antiplatelets with the aim of increasing the level of providing population with effective and available drugs.
