Abstract
Emergência indígena, Comunicação-outra e Bem Viver são conceitos interligados neste trabalho a fim de contribuir para a compreensão dos processos de comunicação gerados pelos povos indígenas da América Latina no atual cenário da (hiper)mídia, considerando a relação de conflito com o sistema colonial de Estados-nação modernos e capitalismo global. Estabeleceu-se que as práticas de sócio-comunicação indígenas incorporam sistemas alterativos de significação aos modos de representação impostas pela colonialidade, produzindo uma Comunicação-outra que contribui para a utopística de pensar/viver outros possíveis mundos.
