RESUMO Foram acompanhados, durante 6 meses, 508 pacientes que colocaram lente de contato pela primeira vez ou aqueles cujas tentativas passadas foram frustradas. Através de um protocolo analisou-se as indicações, tipos de lentes, resultados prévios, assepsia, fatores de risco, idade e complicações mais freqüentes.
