Abstract
Divers types de solution existent pour lutter contre l'érosion marine. Les moyens techniques ont eu, de longue date, la préférence des hommes. Les ouvrages de défense (digues, enrochements, épis et brise-lames) sont généralement efficaces, mais perturbent l'équilibre morphodynamique des littoraux. D'autres méthodes, comme le rechargement des plages en sédiments, sont possibles. Il convient aussi de penser à de nouvelles réglementations des domaines hydrologiques.
