Abstract
Este estudo tem como objetivo central compreender como ocorre a integração das questões socioculturais na proposta curricular e na prática pedagógica de uma unidade pré-escolar, na qual seus profissionais, em parceria com familiares e moradores de um local, construíram, num período de dez anos, um projeto político-pedagógico denominado "Em Busca de Uma Alternativa Curricular". Os eixos temáticos que direcionaram a investigação são: história e origem do projeto político-pedagógico, interações entre os diferentes atores sociais, currículo real e suas manifestações na prática pedagógica, cultura local e ampla, relações de idade e gênero.
This study aims at understanding how the integration of sociocultural issues occurs on the curricular proposal and teaching practice of a pre-school unit where professionals, joined to relatives and neighborhood, constructed within ten years a political-teaching project named "Em Busca de uma Alternativa Curricular" (Searching for a Curriculum Alternative). The topics that conducted the investigation were: political-teaching project history and origin, interactions among different social actors, real curriculum and its demonstrations in the teaching practice, large and local culture, age and type relations.
