Abstract
The article analyzes the progress of the research project “Strategies, Innovative Technologies of Institutionalization and Functioning of Public Policy in the Volgograd Region” conducted by the scientists of the Volgograd State University within the framework of the RFBR Regional Competition “Volga Lands in the History and Culture of Russia”. Attention is focused on the cooperation of the research team with Russian regional scientific centers, as well as deputies of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. S.A. Pankratov analyzed the theoretical and empirical basis of the research work of the scientific and educational center. E.G. Kirsanova characterized the practices of interaction between researchers and representatives of public policy at the regional and federal levels. E.N. Seyfieva identified the directions of cooperation of the Volgograd scientists with research centers in the regions of Russia.
