Abstract
Es posible y laudable expresar pensamientos sublimes con palabras sencillas. Pero es ordinario utilizar vocablos brillantes para decir lugares comunes.
Este lugar común de la retórica se hace extensivo a las artes plásticas, en donde ocurren con mayor frecuencia de la sospechada, las formas elegantes vacías de contenido.
Y, sobre todo, formas repetidas en sistemáticos parangones de estilo universalista, de suerte que la producción individual resulta anodina y de epígonos.
