Abstract
El presente estudio pretende centrarse en el necesario diálogo entre Oriente y Occidente. Hay un este racional y un oeste intuitivo. La modernidad occidental inaugura el monopolio en desarrollo científico y tecnológico. Se consideran países centrales los occidentales, manteniendo la hegemonía política y económica. Los periféricos se consideran pobres. Hay culturas antiguas. No puede promover la división, porque existe la occidentalización de Oriente y la orientalización del Occidente. Lo que se espera es el acercamiento entre las dos cosmovisiones. La sociedad es global, porque los problemas ambientales son comunes y urgentes..
