Abstract
This paper deals with a study on the older chromatic phase from La Sarga (Alcoy, Alicante), which is underlaid to the Levantine Art. It is specially important with regard to the last discoveries, because it permits to isolate a new artistic outlook, previous to the Levantine Art, at least in the Northern districts of the province Alicante. | En el presente trabajo se estudia la fase cromática más antigua de La Sarga (Alcoy, Alicante), infrapuesta al Arte Levantino y que adquiere vital transcendencia en función de los últimos descubrimientos, pudiendo aislar un nuevo horizonte artístico anterior al Arte Levantino, al menos en las comarcas del Norte de la Provincia de Alicante.
