Abstract
En este trabajo se presenta el diseño de un sistema de diagnóstico de fallos utilizando herramientas de lógica difusa para un generador de vapor BKZ-340-140-29M en una central termoeléctrica. La aplicación tiene como objetivo estudiar las ventajas que ofrece esta técnica en el desarrollo de un método de diagnóstico de fallos que sea robusto a perturbaciones externas y sensible ante fallos de pequeña magnitud. El diagnosticador se diseñó para el circuito agua – vapor del generador a partir de demostrarse su gran incidencia en la disponibilidad de los bloques de generación. Los resultados obtenidos indican la factibilidad de la propuesta.

Abstract
In this work the design of a fault diagnosis system using tools of fuzzy logic for a BKZ-340-140-29M steam generator in a thermoelectric power station is presented. The application aims to study the advantages of these techniques in the development of a fault diagnostic method with the characteristic to be robust to external disturbances and sensitive to small faults. The fault diagnosis
system was designed for the water – steam circuit of the steam generator by its great incidence in the correct functionality of the generation blocks. The obtained results indicate the feasibility of the proposal.
