Abstract

Estudio de las cinco llaves islámicas conservadas en el Museo de Segovia, algunas con leyendas en árabe, y de otras varias de la misma tipología y cronología conservadas en otros museos y colecciones. Se aportan nuevas lecturas de sus inscripciones y se realiza una aproximación tipológica, funcional y cronológica de estas piezas de carácter representativo y simbólico, encuadrables en la Plena y Baja Edad Media.

Study of the five Islamic keys conserved in the Museo de Segovia, some of them with Arabic texts, and also about other ones of the same type and date. New readings of their inscriptions are provided and a typological, functional and chronological approach is offered for these Medieval keys having a representative and symbolic character.
