Abstract
El artículo analiza la progresiva pérdida de poder del profesorado asociada a ciertas tendencias de cambio, y localiza la falta de respuesta de éste en la peculiar concepción profesional del semiprofesional y en la cultura institucional de la dependencia. Para contribuir a revertir este proceso se propone recuperar la visión del asesoramiento como servicio indirecto. Mediante el asesoramiento comprometido, una perspectiva apropiada para dar voz a los grupos silenciados, se busca dar voz al alumnado para empoderar al profesorado.
