Abstract
L’intellectuelle engagée que Maria Antonietta Macciocchi s’efforça d’incarner exerce son action selon trois modalités: le récit de la vie quotidienne dans ses moindres détails et son intensité, les commentaires des événements du monde culturel et l’histoire politique des transformations majeures du monde avec la création de l’Europe parlementaire et les nouvelles idéologies communistes. L’émergence des mouvements radicaux et du féminisme des années 1970 permit à cette personnalité du communisme italien de l’après-guerre d’accéder à une modernité critique empreinte d’un nomadisme philosophique. Elle était de tous les combats de son temps. Dans l’éclectisme de Macciocchi, on distingue la volonté d’inventer, après Simone de Beauvoir, un nouvel archétype d’intellectuel au féminin qui fit longtemps défaut en Occident.
