Abstract
Este estudo teve como objetivo verificar o impacto do uso de prótese dentária na qualidade de vida de idosos. Aplicou-se anamnese, avaliação da qualidade através da Escala de Qualidade de Vida WHOQOL-Bref e avaliação de motricidade orofacial. Na amostra estudada foi encontrada diferença na qualidade de vida quando relacionada ao uso de prótese dentária no domínio referente às relações sociais. Nos demais domínios, não foi encontrada encontrou diferença, na comparação com a literatura.
