Abstract
In this paper, we analyzed the novel Hotel Atlântico by João Gilberto Noll. Our perspective is that of Topoanálise, i.e. the analysis of spatial representations in the text. We show that the various spaces of the plot which is driven by the narrator is also a road to death. There are basically two types of spaces in the novel: spaces of rest and spaces of transition. In the spatiality of the plot, the figure of sea is highlighted.
