Abstract
Among user studies, which date to the 1940s, historians have become subject of various research since the 1970s. In this paper, historians'information seeking behaviour is analyzed in terms of information sources, information channels, information centers, and information technology in order to determine theirinformation use characteristics. Tarihi 1940'lı yıllara dayanan kullanıcı araştırmaları içinde 1970'li yıllardan itibaren yer alan tarihçiler, birçok araştırmaya konu olmuştur. Bu makalede tarihçilerin bilgi arama davranışları; bilgi kaynakları, bilgi kanalları, bilgi merkezleri ve bilgi teknolojileri açısından ele alınarak bilgi kullanım özellikleri ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır.
