En un artículo lleno de arrebato, Paolo Marconi expone su reflexión personal sobre la ideología de la restauración en Italia, en los últimos decenios, extraída de casi cuarenta años de experiencia en el campo profesional y docente. Nos parece interesante que los lectores de LOGGIA conozcan este texto polémico, que posee la fuerza de un manifiesto, en el que propone un giro copernicano en la filosofía de la intervención en el patrimonio arquitectónico con respecto a las teorías de restauración de origen Boitiano
