Abstract
Una preocupante ola de lo sobrenatural y esotérico inunda hoy día a las pantallas del cine y la televisión. El poder de fuerzas paranormales y mágicas puede más que la ciencia y el pensamiento racional, los escépticos son unos tontos dogmáticos. Esta ola, cuya Mecca es Hollywood, representa un solapado ataque al raciocinio y al método científico, fomenta la superstición, lo irracional y representa un retroceso. El autor presenta la respectiva situación en los Estados unidos pero esta no deja repercutir en América Latina.
