Abstract
Elsociólogo polaco Zygmunt Bauman es sin duda uno de los principales teóricos sociales del siglo XX y ha sido identificado como el sociólogo de la posmodernidad. Este autor ha desarrollado un análisis profundo y revelador sobre las sociedades contemporáneas ylo ha hecho desde una óptica que equilibra el rigor teórico con la capacidad de dirigirse a problemas cotidianos y actuales de forma accesible para un público amplio. Este artículo presenta una visión de su pensamiento alrededor de su análisis crítico de la modernidad y la posmodernidad y tomando como punto de referencia la discusión sobre el problema del orden.
