Abstract
Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar a evolução e a dinâmica da produção agrícola no município de Ituiutaba (MG) ressaltando a importância do cultivo do arroz no período de 1930 a 2010 e as condições para a incorporação de outros plantios. Metodologicamente é inclui uma exploração teórica, uma trabalho de campo, a coleta e tabulação dos dados censitários e, finalmente, é desenvolvido gráficos mostrando a evolução da produção agrícola. Como resultado nos permitiu avaliar da produção agrícola de Ituiutaba, o que proporcionou uma visualização da importância do cultivo de arroz em outros momentos e a compreensão da atual realidade do espaço agrário.
