Abstract
This paper presents a new concept of reference framework for developing applications with emphasis on the Android Platform applied to the electrical sector. The main objective of this framework is to make the whole process of developing for mobile devices more practical and efficient, especially for new users. The proposed framework is developed using only free technology, making the development process of applications simpler and economically viable. To verify the usability of the given framework it was developed a remote substation monitoring module that is part of an automation system for electrical energy substation.
