Abstract

A Arquidiocese de Belo Horiozonte, no desenvolvimento do projeto pastoral "Construir a Esperança", realizou pesquisa na região metropolitana de Belo Horizonte, MG, com 600 jovens, através de entrevistas. A pesquisa foi realizada entre os dias 17 de dezembro de 1992 e 05 de janeiro de 1993. O relatório inicial tinha 500 páginas. A presente versão sintetizada foi realizada pelas professoras da PUC Minas Maria da Conceição Lopes Noronha e Maria Clara Baeta Galuppo. Também participam desse relatório, na leitura de perspectiva pastoral, o Pe. Carlos Fragoso Filho e a equipe do Instituto de Pastoral da Juventude do Leste II (Minas Gerais e Espírito Santo). Atuou nessa pesquisa o sociólogo Antônio Carlos Guimarães. A versão impressa do relatório aqui digitalizado teve pequena divulgação e considera-se que publicá-la, agora na modalidade online, contribui para as pesquisas sobre juventude e religião, pois amplia o conhecimento dos dados e de suas leituras contextuais.
