Abstract
El doctor Roberto Cortázar Toledo, ilustre académico de la Historia, quien desde hace algún tiempo está dedicado a la publicación de "Cartas y Mensajes de Santander", tuvo a bien informarme, que en la Biblioteca del Senado encontró una carta inédita de Sucre y que aparece en el libro manuscrito: "Excusas de senadores".
