Abstract
Medical technology should not be blindly borrowed. Before adoption, it should be scientifically assessed; not only medically, but also socially and economically. Proper medical technology assessment is the need of the hour, especially in the developing countries, where resources are limited and any mistakes committed would further hamper the socio-economic and health development.
