Abstract
Kanada, Rusya ve tropikal alanlarda tahıl sahalarının, alınacak tedbirlerle iki katına çıkartılabilecekleri konusunda bir düşünce birliği vardır. Uzun yıllar boyunca üretim fazlası veren tarım sahalarını sınırlamak için ABD’nde ekim alanları daraltılmış bulunuyordu. Ancak son yıllarda meydana gelen değişmeler ve zorunluluklar nedeniyle ABD, topraklarının büyük bir kısmını tekrar ekime açmıştır. Fakat sadece bu yolu izlemekle; buğday üretiminin 10 milyon tonu, diğer tahıl maddeleri üretiminin de 20 ya da 30 milyon tonu aşabileceği pek olası değildir.
