Abstract
Bei der pathologisch-anatomischen Untersuchung eines Weißstorches (Ciconia ciconia.) wurden in verschiedenen Organen und im Epineurium des Nervus vagus Metacercariencysten gefunden. Im Kerngebiet des befallenen Nerven bestand gleichzeitig eine granulierende, knötchenförmige Encephalitis. Das übrige ZNS was frei von pathologischen Veränderungen. Ein Zusammenhang zwischen dem Parasitenbefall und der Herdencephalitis muß angenommen werden.
