Abstract
Bu çalışmada, 2002–2006 yılları arasında Ege Denizi’nin vejetasyonlu kıyısal alanlarından yakalanan toplam 1130 adet Syngnathid balık örneğinin 1122 adedinde mevsimsel kondisyon faktörü belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada, deniziğnesinden 4 tür [Syngnathus abaster (n=8), Synganthus acus (n=490), Syngnathus typhle (n=246), Nerophis ophidion (n=90)] ve denizatından 2 tür [Hippocampus hippocampus (n=53), Hippocampus guttulatus (n=243)] incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, kondisyon faktörü açısından, deniziğnesi türleri arasında en düşük değerin Nerophis ophidion (0.01)’da en yüksek değerin Synganthus acus (0.04)’da, olduğu; denizatı türleri arasında ise en düşük değerin Hippocampus hippocampus (0.41)’da, en yüksek kondisyon değerinin Hippocampus guttulatus (0.47)’da, olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Deniziğnesi türlerinde düşük kondisyon değerlerine güz ve kış mevsimlerinde rastlanırken, denizatları için bu ilkbahar olarak belirlenmiştir. Kondisyon faktörü bakımından mevsimlere göre S. typhle ve S. acus’da istatistiksel fark bulunurken (p0.05)
